Consumes film algae, diatoms, hair algae, and some species of cyanobacteria. Frequently found on the glass or the rocks and usually together in groups.

These snails should be housed in a tank with a thick lip or with a lid. They can escape the tank when first getting used to everything. However, they do store water in their shell so even if they are found outside of the tank, they can be placed back in and still be ok.

Very peaceful, easy to care for, and reef safe.
